Much of the credit for the blooming profusion of plants and flowers in Wareham is due to the work of a green-fingered collection of volunteers – Wareham Community Growers. They dedicate their spare time to keep Wareham beautifully blossoming and verdant from spring through to winter.

New Volunteers Needed!

Wareham Community Growers would like to hear from anyone interested in assisting the group to grow and thrive by volunteering their time to help with planting, delivering and erecting baskets and racks, watering, checking and tidying displays in and around Wareham, or assist with promoting or marketing the group to the community. Even if you are not an experienced gardener there are many ways you can still contribute to make Wareham blooming beautiful. Wareham Community Growers regularly enter the prestigious contest, ‘Britain in Bloom’, where they have won gold in recent years and would welcome new volunteers to help keep up their award winning standard!
