Wareham Disabled club was founded in 1976, and is registered with the Charity Commission (Charity No 1141282).
It is open to disabled and seniors in the Wareham and Wool areas. We have a meeting once a month at Carey Hall and organise 2 outings each month.
We have a strong team of willing but elderly volunteers. We have 2 disabled adapted minibuses to safely transport our members. During the pandemic we were busy with taking people to hospitals , GP Surgeries and Covid vaccination centres.
We use local businesses to support our local community and we benefit from excellent service from Whites Garage, Purbeck Mobility, Tradewinds Graphics, Cribbs tyres, U drive and Wool and Bovi motors.
We have no income other than from charitable donations.
